Promoting Small Business and Our Local Economy
Three out of every four new jobs in Colorado are created not by big business, but by small business. During this recession it is especially important to elect a new Representative who will not only be supportive of the small business community, but also has experience in creating and saving jobs.

As a small business owner and entrepreneur, Lisa Grace Kellogg knows first hand how taxes and regulations can stifle growth. She understands the importance of helping businesses create jobs by giving them greater freedom from government regulation. As the next Representative she will work to reduce needless government regulations and to establish a more business friendly environment.

"Our community business owners to take on challenges of running a business every day. They work hard to provide jobs to their employees and understand what it means to have to budget and live within their means. In the meantime, we have legislators in Denver who want to reward their entrepreneurial spirit by imposing more regulations and more taxes. Small business in the backbone of the economy and we can't allow government to break the spirits of business owners through overregulation and taxes."

Protecting Our Ranchers
Lisa Grace Kellogg strongly believes in individual rights. Government seizing land from citizens is wrong. No matter how legitimate the reason may appear on its face, the fact is that property rights are a fundamental part of our value system as Americans and Coloradoans. As our next Representative, Lisa Grace Kellogg will work tirelessly to protect ranchers' rights so that we can preserve the integrity of Southern Colorado for future generations.

"Once you allow government to infringe on these rights, we've gone down a dangerous road."

  Lowering Our Tax Burden
Raising fees and taxes during a recession only makes our state's economic situation worse while further burdening the taxpayers of the state. It is essential for the well being of Colorado that we keep the cap on the growth of the state budget. If not, we jeopardize the fiscal stability of our state.

Lisa Grace Kellogg is a strong supporter of using tax cuts to stimulate the economy. She has already signed the Colorado Union of Taxpayers "No New Taxes" pledge and as a Representative, she will work to make taxes lower and fairer.

"Household budgets are stretched these days. Families cannot afford to send any more money to Denver. As the next Representative from District 64, I will work to control state spending and lower our tax burden so people can keep more of their hard earned paychecks."

Safeguarding Our Water
Lisa Grace Kellogg believes in the need to explore our natural resources, but companies who engage in drilling activity must do so responsibly. She is supportive of wise energy development, here and in other parts of the state, if area residents are also supportive of development.

"Being a rancher, one can't help to be supportive of conservation and environmental protection. I want to wisely use our natural resources to strengthen our local economy while protecting it for our children and grandchildren."
